Note: According to DECIEM, The Ordinary product's expiry is 3 Years after the Date Of Manufacture if you don't open and store them.  A Valid Batch Code is not necessarily an indicator a item is authentic.

"A few products such as NIOD CAIL 1% and our sun protection products will have an expiry date noted on the packaging. For all others, the shelf life is three years when unopened and stored at room temperature. This is the regulatory threshold for testing. Upon opening, please refer to the period-after-opening (PAO) symbol to identify the lifetime of the product." - DECIEM website

FAQs

1. How to Check When Your The Ordinary Products Expire ?

The best way to check is to look for the "Period After Opening" (PAO) symbol on the packaging. This symbol looks like an open jar with a number inside it, indicating the number of months the product is safe to use after opening.

2. Where is The Ordinary batch code?

The batch code is typically printed on the bottom or back of the product packaging, along with the manufacturing date.

3. Can you check The Ordinary expiry date by barcode?

Unfortunately, the barcode alone cannot tell you the expiration date of a product. You'll need to check the Batch Code and manufacturing date to determine when the product was made and when it will expire.
